Important Clan Rules
General RulesPlease ensure you follow all Rules of the RuneScape Rules of Conduct. Failure to do so will result in a Ban.You must at least make 7 posts on the Forums a week and attend 6 events per month as an ordinary member.Make sure you visit the Clan Site and use the Forums regularly. You can only be in ONE Clan. TKOE will not accept any Members that are in other Clans. Pest Control Clans etc are fine. TKOE considers GUILDs as a Skill Clan and membership in this organisation will exclude you from TKOE. If you take on a role of seniority within the clan it is expected that you will fulfil that role in accordance with the job specification and be a more regular attendee at events. If you take on a leadership role you must be prepared to demonstrate good leadership qualities which includes leading by example! Failure to carry out the job you applied for and were voted into will result in you being demoted from that post so be careful that when applying you have the abilities to do that job. 3rd Party Programs are NOT recommended in any way by Jagex and neither do we recommend them. Using such programs is dangerous as some may contain malicious content. Please remember that if you are using such programs, that they comply with Jagex's 3rd Party Software Guidelines.
In exceptional circumstances to protect the founding principles of TKOE the founding members will act to ban persons causing these principles to be undermined!Permanent Bans will be issued for begging, scamming and multi-clanning Permanent Banning can be issued immediately in exceptional circumstances. Most bans will be passed via a High Council Vote but a suspension can be imposed immediately to prevent any damage to the clan or forums and to allow time for the HC to meet and make its decision.
Appeals Procedure
The appeal procedure for future appeals has been modified so that it has two stages, following an initial cool down period of 2 to 4 weeks, a member can then appeal and the following process will occur:
1. A vote conducted by the HC with the options:
Yes - allow member to return
No - I object to the appeal
Members will have 48hrs to vote then if it is inconclusive the Presidents/Vice-Presidents will take a vote and the result of that vote will be final.
If there are a lot of objections then the banned member obviously had a major negative impact on the clan and in all honesty should not be allowed to return to upset them further. Appeals can be very difficult as it is hard to remember exactly why someone was banned months after the event but in all likelihood those that suffered at the hands of the banned member will if they are still active in the clan remember more than those that weren't and can at least have a say in the outcome of the appeal.
Loot Sharing Rules
At clan events we will use coinshare where it works to give all clan members a chance of getting some nice loot.
Roles and Duties
President & Vice President of High Council Guidelines
You are expected to set an example for all other members to follow by attending the majority of scheduled events in a week as well as undertake all of the roles of a High Councillor.
High Councillors Guidelines
You are expected to attend the majority of events per week if online and to post regarding attendance. You are required to moderate the Forums and warn or ban other members who are breaking the rules. You are expected to help with the validation of new applications. Oversee your assigned area/s and make sure the ranks in those areas are performing their duties and to make the necessary post to effect a demotion if they are not, or to fill a post that is vacant, or to cover a post in the event that all holders are absent. If an area that is not staffed, is not performing a HC can take over that area and run it until replacements are appointed who can carry out the task effectively. The HC for an area will continue to monitor performance in that area. High Councillors will deal with complaints and disputes from clan members and make investigations and pass all the findings on to the council for review. High Councillors will help run the awards system. Undertake any other general duties that come with the role/rank. You are expected to read and post/vote on issues in HC discussion forum within a time limit of 48 hours. You are expected to use clan chat enough to enable you to do the above task properly - join in to greet new members, catch up on what is going on and generally take part in the daily life of your fellow clannies. When in chat you are also expected to help keep it clean and a nice place for all to be.
Demotion will follow if these duties are not carried out effectively.
The Heads of Section Guidelines
Head of Multimedia - Will make videos of clan events, biographies and develop graphics for the clan as well as moderate all related forums.
Demotion will follow if these duties are not carried out effectively.
Clan Officers
The Recruitment Officers - You are expected to state where they are advertising the clan and what other activities they are carrying out to attract new members.
Demotion will follow if these duties are not carried out effectively
The Events Officers
Duties
Check the calendar and see what events have been posted on it and then make a topic for that event in the Events forum. Events shall be posted at least 48hrs in advance.
Make the event feedback thread at the same time as event post thread, but set release date to actual event day.
Advertise today's event in a positive way in clan chat prior to the event and help motivate clannies to attend.
Attend more events than required - this is after all your department.
Old event topics should be locked/closed 24hrs after the event has taken place.
Demotion will follow if these duties are not carried out effectively.
All Moderator roles have a responsibility for maintaining the warn system increasing where needed and more importantly decreasing where needed
TKOE Members can only be Members of one Clan, players found to be in more than one clan will be Banned. Exceptions to this rule are our Root Admins Ytimba, Ganners422 and Joel19891 as they have helped to build TKOE from the beginning.
